Cinnamon Maple Latte

Maple isn't just for pancakes anymore. This flavor is popping up in dishes from savory to sweet. Paired with cinnamon and coffee, it's the perfect drink on a cold fall day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup prepared coffee
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, nonfat, 1%, or 2%
  • 4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Carbohydrate: 36g (12%)
Protein: 6g (12%)
Total Fat: 3.5g (5%)
Saturated Fat: 2.5g (13%)

Dietary Fiber: 0g (0%)

Instructions

In a large mason jar, add 12 ounces of milk, 4 tablespoons of pure maple syrup and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Place the lid on the jar and shake until milk begins to bubble up. Remove the lid from the jar and heat in the microwave for 25-35 seconds.

Pour ½ cup of coffee into each mug. Divide the milk mixture up between the two coffee mugs. Top with the foam left from the mason jar.
