Chocolate Chai Latte
- 3 cups water
- 4 chai tea bags
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Boil 3 cups of water. Pour into a large pot, add the tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a small pot on the stove over medium heat, whisking until the milk is heated and the sugar and cocoa powder are dissolved. Do not allow the milk to boil. Add the milk mixture to the tea and stir to combine. Remove the teabags and serve hot. Can be easily reheated, but the chocolate mixture tends to settle, so be sure to stir before serving.
