Congratulations to Charles Wright Academy’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Team for Winning Detroit Lions Tickets & An On-Field Pre-game Experience!

Charles Wright Academy has participated in Fuel Up to Play 60 for the past two years.  Healthy Eating Plays implemented include Nutrition Education lessons in the classroom and student developed posters to encourage trying new foods.

Getting up and getting active in the classroom, participating in ACES Day are some of the physical activity plays they have chosen.

Student Team Members: Joseph, Willie, Amya, Payton, Israel, Sylena, Jerome, Maddex, Armani, Jeremiah, Robert and Korey.

I loved being able to take a small group of students to Detroit and the opportunity it gave me to get to know the students even better and really focus on their growth as a leader in our building.
