After playing high school basketball in North Carolina and Washington, D.C., Saddiq Bey committed to Villanova as a four-star recruit. As a sophomore, he won the Julius Erving Award as the nation’s top small forward and, after the season, was drafted 19th overall by the Detroit Pistons. In 2022, he set the team’s single-season record for most 3-pointers made. Bey now plays forward for the Atlanta Hawks.
