Justin Abdelkader

Justin Abdelkader is known for his grit and toughness as a hockey left wing and alternate captain for the Detroit Red Wings, but there is so much more to him, including his passion for childhood nutrition and education. Justin is a graduate of Mona Shores High School in Muskegon and played hockey for Michigan State University. Playing for the Detroit Red Wings since 2010, Justin was the first rookie to score goals in back to back Stanley Cup finals games. Professional basketball athlete, Saddiq Bey of the Detroit Pistons is partnering with Milk Means More as a dairy and sports nutrition spokesperson. Bey will contribute to sharing the story of dairy and will bring awareness to the nutritional aspect of dairy from a sports perspective.

Frank Ragnow

Our new Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador is Frank Ragnow, a center for the Detroit Lions! The Minnesota native was a first round draft pick in 2018 and played for the University of Arkansas prior to the NFL. Frank is passionate about supporting feeding programs for his community and youth. READ MORE

Jake Vedder

Jake Vedder is a professional snow boarder and is the youngest member competing on Team USA at just 21 years old. Vedder is a MI native (Pinckney) who has achieved multiple podiums and World Cup appearances. His big break was winning a gold medal for the U.S. at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Winter Games. In 2018, Jake finished 5th in the World Championships. He loves chocolate milk and inspiring teens to follow all of their dreams by staying active and eating healthy.
