School Parents and Guardians
Well-nourished children are key to academic success.
Teachers will tell you that students are ready to learn and do better in class when they have a nutritious meal. School meals are a healthy, right-sized and delicious option for your child. Plus, dairy foods help provide the critical nutrients students need.
Did you know? Nutrition standards for school meals are science based. As a result of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, federal nutrition standards were updated to include more fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy and whole grains and less saturated fat, trans fat, sodium and calories.
