Meet Our Student Ambassadors
Brandon, 8th grade, Allendale Middle School
“I help coach a local U8 AYSO soccer team.”
Brandon loves to play soccer and baseball and attend sporting events such as football, soccer, baseball, and auto racing. He loves to work with kids his age as well as younger kids. Brandon’s goal is to be a good role model to them. When Brandon gets older he would like to play college soccer or baseball and study to become a Kindergarten or 1st Grade teacher! Brandon has leadership experiences such as helping coach a local U8 AYSO soccer team with another church member. Brandon joined the Fuel Up to Play 60 team at his school because he likes to set a good example for people. Brandon uses the program to promote physical activity, and healthy habits to make sure that they are staying healthy.
AnnaMaria, 10th grade, Dryden Community High School
“I helped start a walking club within my school.”
AnnaMaria is a student that likes history, cheerleading and track and field. In the future, AnnaMaria would like to work in the field of medicine or education. AnnaMaria has used Fuel Up to Play 60 as a way to help kids in her school understand the importance of daily exercise and healthy eating.
Layla, 9th grade, Bentley High School
“I am a leader in the school by being a positive role model.”
Layla is a positive role model at her school she enjoys watching sports and isn’t afraid to try something new. Layla especially enjoys trying the activities on the Fuel Up to Play 60 website and getting other students involved. She knows the importance of eating healthy and being active.
Lily, 7th grade, Dryden Community High School
“I would love to increase physical activity in my community.”
Lily is an honor roll student who loves art, gym, science, and sports. Lily would like to be a neonatal pediatrician when she gets older. Lily has used Fuel Up to Play 60 to get more involved with her classmates and school.
Nehemiah, 6th grade, Gladstone Junior High
“Fuel Up to Play 60 is important to me because it gives me the opportunity to be a leader and help others become better.”
Nehemiah is an avid soccer player and has been playing soccer for 7 years. He also loves to ski, bike, and play football in his free time. His favorite subject in school is chemistry because he loves making experiments. For a career, Nehemiah hopes to play professional sports. Nehemiah has used Fuel Up to Play 60 to help him learn more about the importance of nutrition and making healthy food choices. The Fuel Up to Play 60 program has also helped him with sportsmanship and to help younger athletes gain confidence in their skills.
