Creamy Strawberry Boba Tea

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup boiling water*
  • 1 green tea bag*
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or light cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pack (2.12 oz.) instant brown sugar boba (1/4 cup)

A slightly sweet, strawberry milk beverage featuring chewy boba pearls.

Instructions

  1. In a heat-proof 14- to 16-ounce glass, pour hot water over tea bag. Let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag and discard. Set tea aside to cool about 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a blender container, combine strawberries, milk or cream and honey. Cover and blend until nearly smooth.
  3. Prepare boba according to package directions. Add to cooled tea in glass. Pour in strawberry mixture. Stir well. Serve with wide straw or spoon.

Yield: 1 1/2 cups; 1 serving
