Creamy Bourbon Cocktail

This delicious cocktail is fast, flavorful and refreshing. Bourbon and your choice of liqueur enliven slightly sweetened half-and-half over ice. A dash of nutmeg tops it off with a bit of aromatic intrigue.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk, half and half
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur, Grand Marnier or triple sec
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • Ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

In small bowl combine half-and-half, bourbon, coffee liqueur, powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until sugar dissolves.

Halfway fill 12- to 14-ounce, old-fashioned glass with ice. Pour bourbon mixture over ice. Sprinkle with nutmeg (if desired). Serve immediately.
