Ingredients
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups milk, buttermilk
- 1/4 cup cream, heavy - plus 2 extra tablespoons
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup blueberries

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the oats, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, buttermilk, and cream. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours, or overnight.
Remove the oatmeal mixture from the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 350º F. Lightly grease a 9x9 pan. Stir the eggs, baking powder, salt and blueberries into the oatmeal mixture until well combined. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with milk.
*Note: this can be made with frozen blueberries, but you will need to increase the baking time to close to an hour.
