Summary
The recently released 2020-25 DGA’s feature some significant changes, including newly developed recommendations for infants and toddlers 0-24 months and pregnant/lactating women. These guidelines were developed using substantial and robust scientific evidence that indicates following a healthy dietary pattern can help people throughout the lifespan achieve and support good health while reducing risk for chronic disease.
