Michigan Continues Serving School Meals
With schools closed due to the coronavirus, school food service departments are making sure students still have access to nutritious meals, including fresh milk.
The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has set up a special program to make sure school meals are available to all children 18 years old and under at no cost.
To find out where you can get meals for your kids in your school district, go to the MDE website.ย Or, check with your local school district website.

Each school district has determined the best way to make these meals available, and have set up specific locations where meals can be picked up, drive through options, as well as delivery to specific locations, including bus stops in some districts.

Some school districts are offering 2-3 daysโ worth of meals at one time, so families donโt have to pick up every day.
We are thankful for the hard-working school foodservice staff making sure Michigan kids have a nutritious meal during these uncertain times.

I’m so sorry for our delayed response. Did you find your meal site yet, or do you still need help?
