How to Host a Virtual Cookie Exchange
Cookie exchange parties with friends and family are a holiday tradition that may look a little different this year. Here are ideas to still share the spirit of the holidays with those you love.
Schedule a cookie exchange drop-off party.
Pick a day and time frame, wrap up your cookies in individual packages and leave at your front door. Invite your friends and family to stop by and pick them up, while dropping off their own. If others want to be included on the โroute,โ the more the merrier!
Use the mail.
This tried and true method continues to be a great way to send a little love to others. Bar or drop cookies hold up best. Use a sturdy container or tin to hold the cookies, pack plenty of bubble wrap or shipping peanuts on all sides of it and use a heavy outer cardboard box marked โfragileโ to mail.
Email your favorite recipe.
If the holiday season is just too busy, you can still connect with others by sharing your favorite cookie recipe through an email exchange. Include a little background about why this recipe is your favorite.
One final tip
Enjoy your holiday cookies with a glass of refreshing milk!
Here is a great exchange recipe from our friends at Go Bold With Butter. Itโs pretty, easy and makes a lot. Enjoy!
