Dairy Vocabulary: Udder, Teats
Growing up on a dairy farm, there are many words that I hear and use every day that you’ve probably never heard of. I thought it would be fun to share some of these words with you, and tell you what they mean.
Udder – this is the part of the dairy cow where the milk is stored.
Teat – this is the part of the udder where milk comes through; dairy cows have four teats.
