Dairy Great Children’s Books to Read
With it being National Reading Month and Agriculture Week, we want to help you and your family celebrate by compiling some of our favorite dairy related books!
These bedtime stories pair perfectly with a glass of warm milk.
Tails of the Dairy Godmother

Clarabelle: Making Milk and So Much More

Following a day in the life of Clarabelle, one of 1,200 cows on a Midwest dairy farm, this book teaches readers what it takes for a cow to make wholesome milk and also by-products like electricity. The manure that Clarabelle and her herd-mates create not only generates electricity, it provides fresh bedding for cow stalls and fertilizer for the crops grown to feed the cows. The book includes photos from the dairy farm.

A Very, Very Noisy Tractor
