365 Days a Year
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday.
Since I live on a dairy farm, my Christmas is probably a little different than yours. Instead of rushing to open presents early in the morning, I have to wait until after my parents and sister are done milking the cows to open them. We don’t just do farm work in the summer — we have to take care of the cows 365 days a year.
All the animals need to be fed everyday and the cows need to be milked twice a day. Before I go anywhere in the evening I have to feed the steers we have for our county fair.
Even though we do work every day — even Christmas Day — I get to do fun things like ice skating, sledding and having friends over.
