Three servings of milk, cheese and yogurt every day
Dairy products in our house are very much a necessity. It’s kind of like breathing for us. We serve a lot of dairy products in our house from cheese (on everything we eat) to Gogurts and drinkable yogurts in the kid’s lunches and of course drinking our glass of milk at the dinner table. I cook and bake a lot, so usually we are adding some kind of dairy product to our dish. We actually go to a local wholesaler to purchase huge blocks of cheese or packages of yogurts. It’s devastating when dairy products in our house are gone.
Milk contains nine essential vitamins and nutrients including calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamins A & D — and it is a good source of protein. I am raising three very active kids. I want them to be healthy and strong, so what better way for me to do that than get some dairy in their diet.
