- 3 1/2 cups fat-free, 2% or whole milk
- 2/3 cup dark chocolate or double-chocolate sweetened hot chocolate mix
- 3 tablespoons whiskey
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- whipped cream, optional
In medium saucepan combine milk, hot chocolate mix, whiskey, rum and coffee liqueur. Cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat until hot. Do not boil.
Ladle into four 10- to 12-ounce mugs. Top with whipped cream (if desired).
Hot Cocoa Maker: In 60-ounce hot cocoa maker container combine milk, hot chocolate mix, whiskey, rum and coffee liqueur. Cover and prepare according to manufacturer’s directions for high-speed heat-and-froth. Serve as directed above.
